Molly Hatchet - Warriors Of The Rainbow Bridge
This near the hour mark latest release features twelve tracks, and includes original guitarist Dave Hlubeck who is welcomed back by the rest of the band according to the sleeve notes. Opening track Son Of The South is what you would expect to hear as a single while driving your open top convertible in the Stateside sunshine, a typical rocker that hits you from the word go! On all the other tracks, the rock feel is there all of the time, soaring guitars, the tinkle of the piano and the classic 4/4 beat which make this a good driving album. Highlight for me is the final track Rainbow Bridge which is a shade over six minutes long. It is a ballad type song with the heavy guitar riff which appears on the chorus with the harmonies. This builds up into a grand finale and is the ideal album closer. This is another creditable album from Molly Hatchet, it
should sell well in ample quantities, and a worth a listen.
